Evangelist Michael McDowell grew up in Michigan, where he trusted Christ at the age of 13. He surrendered to God's call into the ministry at the age of 16, and completed Bible Institute by the time of his graduation from high school. In 1995, he married Kami Nickel, whom he met in college. Brother McDowell served at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wildwood, MO from 1997 until 2002, when he accepted the call to pastor First Baptist Church in Fossil, Oregon. His ministry in Fossil lasted 10 years, until God directed him to join Bible Baptist Church in February of 2012. He is excited to be working with Brother Chris Majors as part of the North Central Washington Baptist Outreach team. God has blessed Brother McDowell and his wife with seven children.
