Pastor Chris Gable grew up in a Christian home after his parents were saved through the ministry of Lehigh Valley Baptist Church. He personally experienced salvation as a 15-year-old teenager at a youth summer camp before being baptized into the membership of LVBC. After attending college, he surrendered to the call of God on his life for the ministry and joined the staff Lehigh Valley Baptist Church to further continue his training. He graduated from the Lehigh Valley Baptist Bible Institute and received his Master's degree from Great Plains Baptist Divinity school in 2009. Chris served on staff at LVBC for 22 years in various capacities including youth director for 15 years and pastor for 8 years.

In March 2025, the Bible Baptist Church in Oak Harbor, Washington voted to call Chris Gable to join its pastoral staff to become its fourth senior pastor. He and his family arrived in Oak Harbor in June 2025.

Pastor Gable and his wife, Jackie, have four children.
