Evangelist Joshua Hower

Josh was a troubled teenager who, on April 13th, 2005, upon recognizing his sinful condition found grace at the throne of God.

After returning to Oak Harbor with his family in 2007, Brother Hower, in 2013, graduated from the Bible Training Institute of Bible Baptist Church and began full-time service with the church in January 2015 as a minister to the pastors. He has served in areas of church finances and administration, the church's ministry to the Island County Jail, and in the Children’s Church ministry.

Josh and his wife Shantel were married on January 15th, 2016, and have one son.

In 2019, Brother Josh was sent from Oak Harbor to assist in the church's outreach to North-Central Washington. The Howers lived in Wenatchee until January of 2021. Moving back to Oak Harbor, Josh took over several ministries of the Church, including the youth ministry, the church’s evangelistic outreaches in the community, and preaching on a regular basis.

Josh is currently leading the church's evangelizing of Sedro Woolley and the Skagit Valley (Washington), with the goal of planting a Bible-believing, independent Baptist church.  If you wish to get in contact with Brother Josh, please contact him through his email here.
