Monica Platero

Monica was born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador, in a loving home and is the youngest of 3 children and the only daughter. She got married to her husband Carlos in December 2004 and moved to the United States in January 2005.  Monica grew up professing the Catholic religion  and realized her need of a savior when she was 17 years old, after God had reached out to her many times through several testimonies of  Christian friends, by God's Grace she got saved (Ef 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God) and started growing in her relationship with her Lord and Savior.  In 2013, God blessed her and her husband with their son, Daniel, who was born in Oak Harbor, WA while they were members of Bible Baptist Church. Her husband's military career moved them to San Diego, Ca in 2016 and back to Oak Harbor, Wa in 2019; where they immediately rejoined BBC.  She has served as the church Secretary since January 1st, 2020. She is incredibly grateful that God has allowed her to serve in this ministry.
